Troubleshooting

Use Qetaab™ in a narrow window

On a phone or a narrow window you can reach every screen with one hand.

Who this is for
Anyone using the app on a phone or a narrow window.
Availability
Available in the hosted app and the local build. The app can be installed on a phone from the browser’s Add to Home Screen; it still needs a connection to read or change hosted books.

Steps

  1. Use the bottom Home, Receipt, Invoices and Review shortcuts.
  2. Open More for the remaining tools.
  3. Go straight to Banking, Reports, Customers & Vendors, Month-end, Reconcile or Settings from the top of the menu; Everything else lists the full workspace below.
  4. Expand Today, Money in, Money out, Banking, Reports or Books to find a screen.
  5. Press Escape or select More again to close the menu.

What you should see

The screen you chose opens and the bottom bar stays in reach.

If it goes wrong

If the bottom bar is missing, the window is wide enough for the sidebar; make it narrower or use the sidebar. The system back gesture returns to the previous screen rather than closing the app.
